Jessica M. Simmons, MBA, SHRM-SCP Joins CEOINS as VP, Senior Benefits Consultant
Jessica has 20-plus years of PEO and Agency experience having started in the PEO industry as a sales executive with the first publicly held PEO company in the late 90s. She is licensed in Life & Health and has earned her MBA from the University of South Florida, and her Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University.
Jessica has delivered millions of dollars in insurance savings and increased benefit quality to PEO clients by offering creative innovative insurance and benefit administration solutions. She has long been on the front lines of health care reform while working on Wall Street in New York City with Frank Crystal, the second largest privately held insurance agency in the United States and with Aon Hewitt as their human resource outsourcing East Coast practice leader and Employee Benefits Outsourcing senior consultant. Jessica has spent her career working with PEOs that are acquired or merge such as Gevity (now Trinet); CoAdvantage (bought by Morgan Stanley), and Advantec (bought by Oasis), showing that innovation and operational excellence works.
In speaking with Jessica, you will immediately see her passion for business as she looks for ways to effectively partner with clients, carriers, and vendors. She is always looking for ways to improve businesses. Most recently, she leveraged her creativity and passion for business by launching a family business to restore 100-year-old Ringling Buildings on the North Trail. Called The Reserve, it is a “village concept,” consisting of three iconic and historically significant buildings that serve as a community venue. Through her work on The Reserve, she is deeply committed to making the North Trail of Sarasota a better place to spend time, live, and work. She is active on the North Trail Business Partnership and strongly supports a host of community and performing arts organizations, including the SaraSolo Performing Arts Festival and its new educational outreach program, SoloSynergy. Jessica also serves on the Steering Committee for Equality Florida.
